Once inside, you can talk to one of our fully accredited Motability specialists, who will be able to guide you through our range and give you the right advice, so that you end up with the perfect vehicle for your lifestyle. Once you have chosen your Skoda car on the Motability scheme our workshop staff will then provide you with support and maintenance for the length of your agreement.
The Motability scheme is a great way for people who receive the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance, or the War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement to turn part or all of their allowance into the new car they choose, as long as that car is on the Motability scheme. The Motability scheme was created to help disabled people gain access to safe, dependable and affordable transportation. The Motability scheme is managed by Motability Operations which is a not-for-profit organisation which was established in 1978.
Many of the cars at Capitol Skoda are available with a nil advance payment, which means that Motability customers do not have to put any additional money towards their new vehicle, above the weekly portion of their allowance. Some Skoda cars which might have a higher specification or more powerful engine will require an advance payment, which is an amount which the Motability customer will need to pay up-front, before taking delivery of their new Skoda.
Parents, carers or friends of people receiving either of those allowances can also drive the Motability car on behalf of the allowance recipient.
