Skoda Roomster

The Roomster is an MPV that took a brave step away from the conventional look and feel adopted by many of the other cars in its class. From the moment you get inside, you realise exactly why those brave steps were taking - so that the Roomster could make you a happy driver!

Ever since the Skoda brand was created back in 1895, the needs and expectations of drivers have constantly evolved. These customer changes have also led to the evolution of our vehicle designs and this is typified by the Roomster. Sitting within the MPV class, the Roomster is focussed on providing a unique experience for both drivers and passengers alike.

From its inception the Roomster was split into two, clearly defined areas of concentration, so that it fulfilled the needs of all travellers: The Driving Room and The Living Room.

The Driving Room has been designed in the same way as a more conventional hatchback would be, so that there is no need to compromise your driving pleasure for the practicality that an MPV provides. From the seating position to the steering wheel, everything has been positioned for maximum driver enjoyment.

The Living Room presents the Roomster's passengers with a spacious, comfortable, clean and usable space. The rear passenger seats are slightly higher than the front seats and this is coupled with deeper rear windows to create a great view. This area is further enhanced by the terrific versatility offered by the "Varioflex" seating, which gives over 20 different seat configurations.

In addition to looking after the needs of the driver and passengers, the Roomster is also more than capable of looking after all of the stuff that comes with them too. The boot can hold an impressive 450 litres with the back seats up, which is a vast amount of space for a small MPV and when you remove the "Varioflex" rear seats altogether, the Roomster offers a cavernous 1,780 litres of space. Every inch of space is maximised in the Roomster, with clever storage solutions like the double glove box, for your CD collection or the 1.5 litre bottle holders which will keep you quenched on those long road trips.

With all of these reasons to get in and drive the Roomster, we are sure that you will be taking it on many adventures, so it is a good job that every new Skoda is covered by Skoda Roadside Assistance. This means that if the unlikely event happens and you do breakdown, whether that's in the UK or Europe, you can simply call a free phone number and someone will be on hand to help you. Best of all, it is completely free for three years.

The Roomster range has a variety of both petrol and diesel engines, which includes an automatic gearbox in one of the petrol derivatives. The Roomster is available in the varying trim levels and is topped off by the Roomster Scout which adds a rugged style to the model range.
