Your normal tyres are exactly what your SKODA needs for most of the year, but when temperatures fall below 7°C they become less effective. Last year we had five months of sustained temperatures below 7°C, so we recommend you get a set of Winter tyres.

Winter tyres are designed with a special tread design and use a much softer rubber compound which both help give your Skoda more grip, improved handling and shorter braking distances in all kinds of Winter conditions.

The initial cost of purchasing Winter tyres can be offset against the saving on wear to your normal tyres. Winter tyres are just as durable as normal tyres and depending on your mileage, they could feasibly last you for two or three winters.
